ha ha, great
wonderfully audio syncing and really funny voice clips worked together, and it was pretty long too.
I got a good laugh out of it, neat work.

Quite wonderful
Despite the lack of dialoge, and what was there was thankfully short (although a bit...odd and...well, I didn't like it so much, as it seemed uneccesary (the greeting of "capt. Toad"))
regardless, this was elaborate, smooth, and well 'sprite-d'
Much effort was put into the smoothness, that's it's shinning factor to be sure. The voices fit Luigi well enough, although Peach and Toad were... less admirable. Some 'cheap', as some call them, blur dialoge effects were oddly placed, but made no major impact.
All in all, I could find no pressing technical error with the flash itself, and it's clean presentation, frame-rate handling and action make this an easy choice for a solid 8 out of 10.
the sprites were slick and so was the animation, however, the plot was a touch dry as compensated by all the wonderful action. Certantly note-worthy to the extent of fast-paced action, but as far as story goes, I liked the idea of 'boo' inhabiting him, I'd like to hear more of it overall.
Otherwise solid, and perhaps him being infected with 'boos' (booze?) enraged him? Perhaps coincidence, but a funny one to keep in mind.
Great work, well worth a watch, maybe even twice. Good work. Excellent presentation.
ah...
Just the same cliche' humor again. I never saw Bad Santa, nor do I plan to, but even for this, there's nothing new brought to the table. Poorly animated, simply tweens matched with tweens, etc.
The voices were alright, but santa had about 3 accents, and sometimes the voices were off, or softer, louder, or whatever. They weren't consistent. That irks me.
The humor is sub-par, well, like most of the users on NG who find pissing themselves and punching kids funny. It really wasn't anything original or new, I can't really grade high on humor so often used.
Graphically, everyhing on that front was consistent, although i could have stood for a better background, and maybe some different angles onler than front (7/8 more porperly).
The style, again, I'll say it, couples with it's humor. Nothing special nothing out of my imagination. the voice was funny for santa, on occasion, but nothing to make me laugh or smile about.
Eh, whatever that means to the public, oh well. I'm not here to be nice. Decent effort, I just saw it extremely bland. Work more with a consistent voice and some new artistic-figure angles and things should turn out better.
What on God's Earth is wrong with you?! It's not supposed to be epic, it's a short made in three days, what do you want? Pardon me if I failed to meet your unrealistically high standards.
Santa did NOT have three accents, he had ONE accent - this is probably my first movie where I have used my actual voice. If you listen carefully you can hear his lack of caring progress, unless you were confused as to who was speaking.
You think the humour is sub-par? Well, the majority of people don't. I can appreciate all forms of comedy, and prefer intelligence and wit over crude jokes any day. If you don't find it funny, it doesn't mean it isn't.
The problem with you is that on numerous occasions you state what you WANT. Sorry I didn't work to your specifications, pal. In fact, I just watched some of your stuff and honestly feel it is no better than my works or beyond the limits of anything I am capable of producing.
Wonderful Parody
Wow, I hate that series too, (good thing I didn't VA any of the shit you guys made fun of!)
The sarcastic fart jokes really cracked me up, ecause they're so god damned sarcastic. Also, the comments during the stupid animation tweens were halarious.
This was longer than skittlz and bitz, better, and just funnier. The backgrounds, lack of animation, and even a audience with the dungeon mastah himself. ha ha ha, he gets what he deserves.
the voice acting and sounds were this pieces strongest points, delivering great timing, even if it was purposfully bad, and just perfect replications/explanations of his stupid m/f'n tweens.
the animation was equally funny, especially the 2 image speaking, the big black boxes, and everything else was well done, but not. but you meant it to be 'not' so you could show how shitty the 'it' was. (or was not?)
The first skit had me feelin kinda...meh, but the rest is well worth it, and a wondeful, wonderful parody that dwarfs the real series ten-fold.
I loved it, and laughed at lot on how you guys nailed how stupid that series is. Great great work.
Very elaborate, very sarcastic.
I loved it, everything from beginning to end, sarcastic and a god commentary on NG and the trends here in general.
These things that are random are a lot more thought out than people think. This is probably the best produced 'random' flash, and the laugh track in 'gamer guyzzz' was halarious... ha ha, everything was timed well in that.
audio is probably the strongest quality. Funny situations, good timing, and great samples, music, and voices. (I found the 'the end' and beginning 'white background' especially funny as well)
overall, not perfect, but pretty damn good by any standard I can think of. Great style, great technique, and just a elaborate piece of random.
Great work.
not bad.
Certantly made me chuckle, which is hard to do.
The tent scene, the cactar, and some presentation made this pretty neat.
A big blow was voices. not that they were collectivly bad, it's that the different recoding qualities, along iwth pops, low volumes, etc hurt the effect of some otherwise 'laughable' lines. Some lines were sarcasticly bad, so that was funny too.
Graphically, it was pretty lame, but that was part of the funny. I'd definately ask you to improve it, and lose so much of the tween and 'cheap zoom-in attacks' etc.
Music was good, and overall, it looks like you put good effort into it.
Well done, just sorta a 'rough-draft' of something good.
good work, this earns a mentionable 5/10 from me. keep it up, and aim even higher.
Final Fantasy Matters 2 is already in progress. There will no be any sound problems, there will be no bad graphics, I'll use camera.
Thanks for the helpful review, even you gave 5. Waaa...
eh...
Too overated. Good background art, mostly, and the animation was pretty decent.
the concept is a bit cliche, and well, the voice acting could have been a bit more practiced. Overall, an average movie. No particular plot, nor did I find it overly funny. Just too cutesy for me I suppose.
The character art was consistant, which is good, but overall, it just doesn't really shine as a 'great' movie, for the obvious reasons of story, overall graphic presentation, etc
the guys voice was good and bad, and the girls was...usually fine, but some lines were confused pitches.
Good work, and certantly a solid piece, but not really all that noteworthy.
3.65/5.00
i think if I shat my pants....
I would find more depth and texture.
these keep coming, and they are usuallly the simplest of tweens, they're not funny, and fart jokes aren't that funny.
to respond to a review: these come out so quick because shit is easy to make.
just because it 'looks good' doesn't mean it's hard. that first scene was dumb and was just one image being rotated.
seriously, put some effort into this or this is just another wannabe movie/flash artist who has no talent. that's what these movies are, talentless tweens that have pretty colors.
all reviewers that rank this high and braise it have no culture in their lives, or are too stupid to get some.
this was a really dumb movie.
I've been coming to Newgrounds since about 1997, when the best score was 3.63 (fun fact). Things sure have changed since then. I used to animate...but I probably won't anymore. I revisit sporadically. I left my crap up here as a way to look at the past.
