beautifully done...

although the abundance of images was disapointing, this was done with such good text, i couldn't wait to see what the homeless (so to speak) guy had to say.

some wonderful art (other than a minor perspective thing here and there, very small), the faces, the faces were magnificant.

overall, i'm glad i finally sat down and watched one of this... my first full. excellent work, i look foreward to more.

hm..

well presented, but i don't take the answer 'wanted to make something cheesy so base it on that'

the presentation, music, and voices were extremely well done and it wasn't bad on the whole

the graphics were fairly simple and no all too hard to animate. coulda been more fluid with that. Some tweens, like in the begining 'half walk' was pretty lame, and some stuff just stalled for time.

in the end, it was a decent piece of work and can always appreciate people who show effort at least. I woulda liked to have seen more content, but can't have everything. do a more in depth one, or something with more a point and it'd be a hit.

good work, but could be a little more in the animation department.

funny...

Although a littl emore time on the graphics could have made this even better, this was a sarcastic and funny piece of work. the animation was smooth enough, but like i said, generic graphics in some spots hurt it. The joke at the end, well hidden, was excellent and well placed. not too many people got that probably, but it seems you don't like performance art (good).

ha, in the end, i do art too, and i thought this was pretty funny, but could be better in the graphics (and some in the sound) department.

good work.

Topdrawer responds:

Thanks, but what do you mean by "generic graphics"? Every last frame in this movie was drawn by hand including the bitmap background of the opening scene. I had no idea I was making generic graphics.

not bad...

presentation was horrible... and a lack of sounds really killed this one. I love a good serious animation, but no SFX, or anything all to interesting hurt it.

it was a good attempt though and encourage you to continue the efforts... too much text, per say.. try and have a little more than a 'slide-show' effect with them. it looks good, but could be better

more motion equal more 4's and 5's in this case.

not bad. keep at it.

i liked it

there was no real point to the movie, which is understandable, but i liked it.

i always appreciated the music done by mazedude, the wolfenstein one was a neat touch.

in the end you can;'t really give criticism on how to get better or worse with these sort of prejects. it certantly doesn't take years to make, but it was presented well.
good work.

CountPoopoo responds:

Mazedude is awesome, thanks a lot for the review. I appreciate lower reviews as much as I appreciate 9s and 10s.

Little pissed...

such technical errors are so bad that i'm disgusted. for the ammount of work i put forth in my movie for it not to be shown just pisses me off to no end. Ruined my day. Razor, u need to get the hell over here and put my movie up!

the rest is very interesting, and Jz's was the best by far (although i think mine could contend)....

STILL: It sucks over 1000 people have seen this movie, but haven't seen mine, which is just hurtful in more ways than one. I'm really pissed razor. fix this shit quick ok? I think my movie is well worth watching, but ur not helping me out... very unprofessional.. and disapointing that all my work is almost for nothing.
thanks.

hurry up and get my stuff on.

well made...

this is what i like to see. a well made movie, with some really neat music. I liked the thorntail music from StarFox (GC), and all the neat little remixes and arrangements. The story feels like it was written out quite well and the story was pretty solid, although the pronounciations sound weird to me (been a while i guess). But i appreciated the story. although the theif whing was kinda.. odd.

the graphics were alright, and nothing too seriously wrong. i liked that 'topless gorgons' sign in town. funny.

Overall, there's nothing that can make this too much better except maybe action, which is what the masses wants. but i appreciate this for what it is. It showed effort, that's the most improtant thing. great work.

lol

the flailing limbs were just. funny!

EarthKrushes could have said it no better. LF and the others are alriht, although are disagreeable. and piconjo is so god damn off the wall and random and inconsistant and to me, damn funny, he has been the only animator to make me lol consistantly, EVER! I never lol irl. but i tip my hat to the guy who can make such random bullshit cockloaded shitty gold. congrats piconjo. you are damn funny. randomness!

ppl should vote 5 for the FF reference (funny, just funny)

the NG critic and anti-NG idol of our time. i've been comin here since 98, and he is by far the funniest, evar!

rock on. ppl can't figure out why FF in this movie is so... prevalent. he he.

I've been coming to Newgrounds since about 1997, when the best score was 3.63 (fun fact). Things sure have changed since then. I used to animate...but I probably won't anymore. I revisit sporadically. I left my crap up here as a way to look at the past.
